First year student Gina Capece was selected for the Grover Fellowship. This award has been established by Dr. and Mrs. Gary Grover for an incoming Ph.D. candidate within the JGPT. Dr. Grover and his wife Janis are both alumni of Rutgers and continue to serve the university. Dr. Grover spent 25 years in the pharmaceutic industry working for Bristol-Myers Squibb and Eurofins. As adjunct professor, Dr. Grover teaches to Pharm.D. students serves on Admissions Committees and mentors trainees at all levels. Mrs. Grover is President of Bowne Station Specialty Foods and Grover Global Food Marketing and serves as an active alumni and donor to the university.
