Text: PharmD/PhD student Melissa Kudlak (D. Laskin laboratory) was selected for the Johnson & Johnson Scholars of Immunology Diversity Engagement Program (J&J SIDEP) is designed to support the professional development of students and postdocs from underrepresented groups. The program focuses on building meaningful relationships through mentorship from experienced professionals, providing guidance on career advancement, and exposing participants to opportunities within immunology. Participants gain insights into leadership, industry roles, and the skills needed to excel in scientific and medical fields. This program aims to help shape the careers of future leaders while fostering diversity and inclusion in the workforce and providing effective personalized mentorship.
