Melissa Wilkinson, a Ph.D. student in the JGPT, was selected as an inaugural member of the Rutgers Global Health Institute Student Council. The council is comprised of approximately 50 members from the undergraduate and graduate level, representing each of the schools at Rutgers. The goals of the Rutgers Global Health Institute Student Council are to foster collaboration among various disciplines, develop a health impact case competition, strengthen alumni involvement, and raise awareness about career pathways in global health. During this two-year appointment she will work with other students to further develop these initiatives while engaging the Rutgers community.
