Dr. Gary Grover and Janis Grover are proud supporters of the JGPT and have awarded the 2023 Grover Scholar fellowship to 1st year PhD student Taina Moore and 3rd year PhD student Brianna Ames. Taina is an alumnus of Tuskegee University in Alabama and is currently rotating in the lab of Dr. Emily Barrett. Brianna is an alumnus of Delaware State currently conducting her doctoral work in the lab of Dr. Lauren Aleksunes.
Dr. Grover is a cardiovascular pharmacologist, educator, and philanthropist. As part of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, he is active in training and mentoring JGPT and SURF students as well as medical students at Rowan University.
