1st year PhD student Kevin Ozkuyumcu was recently chosen to be a Team Lead for the highly selective NJ Governor’s STEM Scholar Program. Over the course of the academic year, Kevin will be tasked to lead a team of brilliant high school scholars to determine a STEM-driven, local community solution for a problem facing the globe. Their project will be presented at a final research symposium on May 11th, 2024. Scholars and leads are also given the opportunity to attend a variety of in-person conferences and panel sessions where they will meet experts in various STEM-related fields.
