Two JGPT trainees, Talia Planas-Fontánez and Dr. Cody Smith, attended the 2018 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS) meeting in Indianapolis, Indiana. With over 2,300 undergraduate attendees, ABRCMS aims to shape tomorrow’s diverse STEM leaders. Talia and Cody shared their experiences in graduate and post-graduate education in toxicology as well judged research competitions among attendees.
