Stephanie Marco (JGPT), Nicole Renkel (JGPT), and Melody Wren (JGPES) attended the 2016 American Society for Mass Spectrometry Fall Workshop, entitled Sample Preparation for Analysis of Real World Samples by Mass Spectrometry: The Common Denominator for Quality Data, on November 3 and 4 in Baltimore, MD. The workshop, led by experts from academia, government, and industry, discussed current and emerging preparation techniques for biological, environmental, and food samples. The students discovered methodologies applicable to their research and future career interests.
