JGPT students, led by Alessandro Venosa, Jamie Moscovitz, and Thea Odgers, celebrate a successful summer toxicology program for high school students. The Toxicology, Health, and Environmental Disease (THED) program was initiated in 2013 and continues to be an exciting opportunity for high school students to meet scientists and clinicians and learn exciting laboratory techniques. Students learned how to isolate DNA, perform PCR, and stain cells.
Two one-week sessions ran July 21-25 and July 28 to August 1, 2014. More information is available here.
