Dr. Jiyang Zhang, a JGPT postdoc working under the mentorship of Dr. Shuo Xiao, received the Best Abstract and Platform Presentation Award at the National Oncofertility Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA. Jiyang presented her research on how to develop and use a vitrification approach to cryopreserve individual ovarian follicles for studying female reproductive biology, toxicology, drug screening and fertility preservation.
