Trainees from EOHSI (Toxicology and Exposure Science) are attending the SciPhD workshop this week. The SciPhD provides training for scientists who want to transition from academia to non-academic careers. During this workshop we have received resources and hands-on training to identify and develop highly valued skills in communication, leadership, negotiation, team building, networking, and project management. SciPhD also mentors scientists in critical networking skills and helps participants to design an individual career action plan. Thank you so much Dr. Janet Alder, Dr. Randall Ribaudo and Larry Petcovic for organizing and executing this amazing in-person career development workshop.
