Alums return to share their journeys and advice

Posted February 6, 2025, in events.

Three JGPT alumni shared their experiences in graduate school and beyond during a career panel hosted on Zoom.  Danielle Kozlosky, PhD described how internships in intellectual property during graduate school as part of the iJOBS training program were pivotal to her now working as a patent scientist and pursuing her J.D. degree.  Alexis Ventoso, MS, MDT shared her journal from studying olfactory toxicology at Rutgers to working as a medical laboratory technologist where she oversees the analysis of hundreds of clinical specimens daily.  Dahea You, PharmD, PhD, DABT, described her journey from the dual-degree program to a postdoctoral fellowship at NIH/NIEHS and serving as a project toxicologist in both large pharma and biotech.  Attendees could use the career panel to ask questions about job sectors and solicit advice for their next steps.  Thank you to our alumni!
