On Sep 12, 2019, Dr. Cody Smith presented his postdoctoral research at the North Jersey Drug Metabolism Discussion Group Meeting in Somerset, NJ. Cody’s talk entitled “Bioinformatics Approach to Investigate Mechanisms of Pulmonary Toxicity” outlined his work using RNA-Seq to interrogate novel targets for the resolution of ozone-induced lung injury through modulation of lipid signaling. Over 100 participants, largely from the pharmaceutical industry, enjoyed learning new mechanisms in basic toxicology research. Congratulations Cody!
