Raj Shah, PhD Candidate, was recently selected as a recipient of the Pan-American Society for Pigment Cell & Melanoma Research (PASPCR) Travel Award. Raj is scheduled to give a podium presentation titled “Concurrent targeting of glutaminolysis and metabotropic glutamate receptor 1 (GRM1) reduces glutamate bioavailability in GRM1+ melanoma” during the 2019 PASPCR Annual Meeting at the Jackson Laboratories, Bar Harbor, Maine.

In September 2019, Raj shared his research findings at the ‘Innovations in Dermatological Sciences’ symposium in Somerset, NJ where he received the best poster presentation award (2nd place).
