In March 2020, JGPT students and postdocs were invited by Dr. Dan Bagley and colleagues at Colgate-Palmolive to present their risk assessment projects as part of the Consumer Product Safety and Sustainability course. After completing their presentations, trainees learned how to make toothpaste.
Along with EOHSI, the toxicology and exposure science graduate programs hosted a 1-day workshop on “High Throughput Computational Methods in Chemical Risk Assessment” in collaboration with Exxon Mobil. The RATS held their annual holiday party with festive cheer and a holiday sweater contest. The celebration was complete with a white elephant gift exchange and dinner and laughs among students, postdocs, and faculty. The RATS had many great accomplishments to celebrate in 2019!
