Ayeshia Morris, PhD Candidate in the laboratory of Dr. Ron Hart was selected as an invited speaker at the Johnson and Johnson Open House. Her talk was entitled “Synergistic Induction of AD Pathology by APOE and DDT/DDE”. This was a virtual event that was broken down into 3 days. Each day covered informative presentations about the consumer health and pharma sectors of the company. An hour was set aside during the first two days for “speed networking” where the scholars would rotate into different breakout rooms to meet with preassigned employees. On the third day, the scholars were given the opportunity to present their research in 5 minutes repeatedly over the course of 1 hour where interested employees would rotate in. This was definitely a great opportunity for Ayeshia to network and share her research.
