To celebrate the end of the academic year, the RATS hosted the inaugural RATS Gala on May 16, 2025. The evening was filled with lots of food, friends, and karaoke! Along with dinner, the RATS had a mocktail station including tox-themed drinks such as “Free Radical Fizz” and “P450 Island”. The students also voted on fun superlative awards such as “Best Future PI,” and “Most Iconic RATS Duo.” One of our recent JGPT alums, Zakiyah Henry, was in attendance and received the award for “Most Likely to Be the First RATS Nobel Laureate.” After a few more karaoke songs, the RATS went home with goodie bags and new memories. Thank you to the RATS executive board for hosting such an entertaining event!
